What is this growing in my shed ?

Hi everyone !

Just having a clean out of the shed and found this little chap on the inside of the roof!

bit more info as photo may de deciving.... its about 1" in diameter and 1.5" in height !!!

I agree with wayne, as we had a wasps nest in our shed years back and it looks similar.Though tbh the wasp hardly used it.Was only a few that did.

If my spelling sucks it`s because i type too quick and then hit post before checking.

I have had quite a few of these wasps' nests in my garage and shed over the years. A couple of years ago we were able to watch them building a similar one under the porch of a holiday chalet that we regularly use in Scotland.
