Top Three Birds

My top three birds would have to be

1. Osprey
2. Blackbird
3. Long Tailed Tit

Which birds do other UK Wildlife chat board browsers rate?

Lapwing

I am glad to see I am not the only one who has Lapwing on my list. I remember the first time I saw them, there was a flock of them in a field just outside of Heathrow. They were the first birds I saw upon my return to England as an adult. Such gorgeous birds!

I see Bullfinch regular and in good numbers. And we often get three to four breeding pairs of Curlew around the village. But it has become a rare sight to see the Rook.Icon_sad I should add, around my area that is.
