Tibbar & Skippy

I thought I would officially introduce both myself & Skippy. We have been married nearly 2 years although,we have known each other more than 25yrs & both have an interest in wildlife, animals & the world about us. We both help people for a living Skip is a firefighter & I send him here there & everywhere from the Control Room.We extend this help to anything in distress. We have my 2 boys who we hope we are bringing up in the same vein.We have quite a few pets & lots of experiences with other people's.
Apart from nature, my main hobby is genealogy/gardening & Skip's cars/motorcycles/planes.We both like anything interesting in the Countryside.
Dislikes , mine is walking up hills & I don't think Skip has any.

Hello tibbar & Skippy!

Tibbar, are you what's known as an Emergency Dispatcher here in the US? One of my sisters is an Emergency Dispatcher for Santa Clara County in California.
Don't have any firefighting relatives, however.

^^^
I know you've read my blog, so you know that in other forums I am known as East Hill.

Yes, there's a good reason for that name! I've learned to love hills Icon_biggrin .

Ah, genealogy Icon_biggrin . It's also one of my passions, along with riding my bicycles.

Genealogy is the tracing of one's ancestors. Expanded, it includes learning not only WHO your ancestors were, but what they did for a living, how they lived, where they lived, and how events of the past affected them personally.

Errr...I am also a moderator at a Lancashire genealogy forum:

http://www.ukgen.com/forums/

This board tends to be fairly quiet, but we are always happy to answer questions whenever we can.

The board is not restricted to just Lancashire, but years ago it started off that way. We can answer questions about all of England, and actually, I can answer questions about Canada and the US as well.
