The Unexpected

Hi all

Woke up to this today. Unexpected because there was no mention on the weather forecast. We're off raptor watching on the Wirral, good job we've got the 4x4!

RE: The Unexpected

Wow, we just have had lots of drizzly rain here which hasn't been much fun. There hasn't been any mention of snow on the weather at all, must have been a shock opening the curtains this morning!

RE: The Unexpected

The weather has suddenly turned very chilly. I've already experienced turning up late for events because I had to de-ice my car!
Have a bad cough an cold too at the minute, so winter is definitely on its way. Wrap up warm everyone Icon_mrgreen

RE: The Unexpected

That is amazing I would love to get some snow around my parts this winter. Not good for the birds though, unless they come to my highly stocked feeders!

RE: The Unexpected

Wow!

All we have had here is rain...although yesterday I remarked to my husband that it is finally starting to get quite cold. I think winter has arrived!

RE: The Unexpected

All we had here was some horrible sleety rain. I always think that snow is wonderful providing you don't have to travel anywhere in it. Talking of which, I'm intrigued by the tire tracks in the second pic - it looks like the driver was heading straight for the parked car and swerved around it at the last moment.

RE: The Unexpected

We had a couple of inches in the evening here, but then it turned to sleety rain at about midnight and so, most of it was gone by dawn, unfortunately Icon_sad

Kat (who loves snow, in case you hadn't guessed already! Icon_wink)

RE: The Unexpected

I love the snow too, the last few winters have been devoid of any "real" snow in the SE though unfortunately.

RE: The Unexpected

Yes how did it go wild canon?

What are the odds this is the only reasonable snow we get this year?
