The Early Bird.

We were in town on Sunday and spotted a dead but very young bird in a shop doorway. It was so young it didn't have any feathers and had that distinctive yellow gape around its mouth. I'd hazard a guess at a baby Starling or Blackbird but am not sure. But it was a baby.

Anyone else seen or heard of any reports of baby birds this early.
