Survey/Questionnaire - Food Waste Market Research Help Needed Please

Hi there

I wondered if anyone would be kind enough to help me with a bit of market research for a 'project' I am working on.

Anyway, the questions are as follows, further comments will be very welcome:

1) What age group are you in?
0 - 20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60-70, 70+

2) Are you employed, self employed, student, retired, housewife/husband etc.

3) Do you live in the town, suburbs or country

4) What County Council do you come under? (e.g. Bristol, Gloucestershire etc.)

5) Are you interested in gardening? Yes/No

6) What food waste provision does your county council provide you with? (e.g. do they provide you with no provision and expect you to put your food waste in the bin or do they give you a separate container to put your food waste in which they collect weekly?)

7) Are you satisfied with this provision? Yes/No

8) Have you ever experienced any problems with the provision that your council provide you with? (e.g. flies, mice, smell)

9) Do you compost at home? Yes/No

10) Would you be interested in a product that allowed to compost previously uncompostable waste such as meat, fish, dairy, cooked food? Yes/No

11) Would you be interested in a product that allowed you to store your food waste without bad smells and without flies and other vermin? Yes/No

12) Would you be interested in a product that allowed you to produce liquid houseplant food? Yes/No

13) Would you be interested in a product that allowed you to produce liquid that cleaned your drains and toilet?

14) Would you be interested in a product that produced nourishing compost that you could dig into your garden within one month?

How much would you realistically expect to pay for such a product?
£0-£20, £21-£40, £41-£60, £61-£80, £81-£100, £101+

Thanks very much indeed!

I am basically trying to start up a little business selling a composter that does not smell or attract flies my website (not finished at all) is http://www.easycompost.co.uk. If all goes well I can give up my office job and expand out into other areas - a wildlife gardening shop being my ultimate aim/dream in life so I can retire knowing I did my bit to help wildlife! I need this market research for my business plan (am doing a business start up course) - all information is only for me and your details will not be stored or passed onto any junk mail companies etc.
