Snow! then wind...hail...rain...clear
Wow, what a bizzare day we have had today. First it snows, then it stops. Then the hail comes, and then the weather is clear. The winds start to come with a slight drizzle, then that all stops. And then the snow comes back again. It has been doing this for about 3 hours now! Quite bizzare!
Has it snowed today where you are?

We had so snow here but nothing like the snow in those pictures, they look beautiful. I went for a walk up no a nearby hill and it's amazing how much difference 500 feet makes, there was lots more snow there.

This morning I went out and did some gardening. At one point, I thought that the petals of the plum tree next door were falling on me. Then I thought, perhaps someone is burning something which is creating ash?
No.
It was SNOW!
Lasted all of five minutes, then the sun shone again. If I hadn't been outside when it occurred, I would have never known.

We keep getting little flurries like that as well. None today so far, but I reckon we had about 5 or so flurries of snow yesterday.

We had a few short bursts of sleet/snow, the kind that is horrible to be out in. They don't last long though, and we even had the sun poking through at some points.

We still have a thin layer of snow lying here and even had a fresh sprinkle last night, but it's gradually going as the weather warms slightly and the precipitation turns to rain.

Sorry to rub it in everyone but we missed all of this. We were in Lanzarote in the sun. We did get 5 specks of rain though!!. I was busy filming a Hoopoe, if I can get a good enough pic off the video I might just even post it.
