Should I remove rotting magpie?

I hate to intervene in nature but the weather has been hot and there are flies gathering around the magpies corpse, mother seems to be crunching into it but am really worried it will go off and its really hard for her to carry it upto the hole, what do i do? i wont sit back and watch them get infested with maggots? any owl experts opinions welcome? - heres my cam link - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/tawny-owl-246
