Rooks

Are rooks starting to increase in numbers again? There hasn't seemed to me to be as many rookeries around in the recent pasts but I've began to see them more and more in places that you wouldn't expect. Gone are the days of rookeries lined up in elm trees it seems.

RE: Rooks

You're more likely to see Rooks in open fields than in trees today, although as far as I know Rooks numbers have never declined and they are definitely not in any danger.
