Puppy Introduction
Greetings all!
My name is Heather but everyone refers to me as Puppy.
I have a big love for wolves, art and photography.
Ive lived in Kendal since i was 3 years old, so ive always been exposed to the lake district and its wildlife. I used to regularly bird watch at Leighton Moss, but now-a-days I just focus on photography. I usually just take my camera out when i'm going anywhere in the lake district. You never know what you might come across that you could capture!
I tend to get alot of my best photographs from zoos and wildlife parks. Dolton Zoo is excellent for this since most of the animals are not concealed behind glass or bars. The new avery was alot of fun, one of the macaw parrots really posed for the camera!!

Hi Werepuppy, welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing your pics on the gallery.
I too enjoy Leighton Moss and go there quite frequently. I've had excellent views of bittern and deer there, plus the starlings in the evening are superb.

RE: Puppy Introduction
Hello Werepuppy, Kendal is a beautiful place. I did not get to spend as much time there as I would have liked last time I visited England. My husband insisted on visiting Kendal because he wanted to see the birthplace of Kendal Mint Cake .
I think we will all look forward to seeing your photos on the gallery.
Welcome to Wildlife UK!

I am waiting with great anticipation for wolves to be released back to the UK. ^_^ I have heard theres a project to release them into the wild in Scotland to help control the reindeer population.
Pleased to meet you too btw :3

RE: Puppy Introduction
Hi from Skippy & Tibbar. We go into the Lakes quite a bit but need to branch out. Perhaps visit Leighton Moss as we have never been. We will put that on our list of 'To Do's'.
