Nice action photo of Sylvia...

Thanks alot! ^_^
I'm very proud of that photo. She was running around like crazy so it was very hard to catch her on the photo at all!

What kind of coldwater fish are you keeping, Christine? Do you have a pond?

No I don't have a pond, they're in a tank, I have one gold & white fish, which is about 16cm long, and 5 tiny little things, similar in size to neon tetra, but not as brightly coloured.

It sounds as if you have some White Clouds--one of my favourite coldwater fish. Brilliant little things, they are also called the 'poor man's neon tetra'.

RE: Pets
Thanks Kingfisher, I've just googled white cloud fish, and that's exactly what they are, I could watch them for hours, I've been very tempted to get a load more of them and know I no what they are called as well

RE: Pets
If your tank is heavily planted they will breed for you! Try lowering the temperature just a couple of degrees (or, raise it for a few days, then lower it again) and they may just surprise you!

RE: Pets
Hi , Clatterpark do your chickens lay? We would like to see pics of your cats also. Skippy & I do not know much about chickens but I know that you can get very fond of them. As for cats , I have had one & Skip has had 4 at one time. We are big cat fans but would not have one now as our poodle would chase it. We did think about it again recently but thought it would have to be a kitten & would it put up with being sucked to death!!!! Jury is still out on that one!

Hello clatterpark, I have to say that we do love our cats here in my house. I don't have any chickens at the moment, but I personally find the sound of hens clucking to be quite soothing. I'm not sure about the rooster thing, though.
Welcome to Wildlife UK!
