Hi, I've just found the forum today and am very impressed so far. I live on the Isle of Lewis and I'm trying to educate myself about wildlife matters and photography. I do some voluntary work with BDMLR and am planning to be involved with the NARRS surveys this year - looking forward to the training day next month Icon_biggrin

Cheers,

Sandy

Hello Froggy, welcome to the forums!

Hi Froggy

Welcome.
Interesting that there are blogs from Arran and Mull and now a member from Lewis.

I know NARRS is the the national ampibian and reptile recording scheme because I submit records to it. Which species do you have on Lewis?
Best wishes
SCR

Hi Froggy.

You certainly live in an ideal area for wildlife and photography. It was after a holiday on Lewis in 1985 that I took up wild plant photography. Before then I had no interest in plants, but seeing all the wonderful wild flowers there, I simply HAD to photograph them.

Look forward to seeing some of your images.
