RE: Native reptiles in Essex?

Hi Andrew welcome to the forum Icon_smile

There are native reptiles in Essex, the five I can think of that are native to the whole of England are the adder, grass snake, smooth snake, common lizard and slow-worm, but I might be missing one or two.

Have we got any pics Xeract to compare differences? I have never seen a slow worm.

I haven't got a picture of a slow worm myself but I found one on the net, notice the forked tongue.
