Mink

Looking to find where Mink are located in England and information on where they sleep/live.

Mink are fairly widespread within England, the only exception is the Lake District. Most estimates say there are thousands in the country, and that number is probably growing. Mink need a waterbank to live, so they are usually found along rivers and near lakes. They are also active in the day unlike otters, and are fairly bold.

Mink are considerably smaller than otters, and you aren't likely to mistake them for otters. You could mistake them for ferrets, but ferrets aren't as likely to be near water.
