May - Landscapes

This is a monthy photo competition, with each month having a set category. During the final week of the month, a voting thread will be put up so you can vote for your favourite images.
Unfortunately the winner will not recieve any prizes, because it is just a bit of fun.

The winner will be mentioned and congratulated by Xeract on the homepage. On your thread, can you please give a name for your image, and if possible, include photogrpahy information, such as ISO, shutter speed etc. A new thread will be created for each month, so please be sure to enter in the right one!

If you have any further questions, then please contact me by personal message, and we will try our best to answer your question.

The Categories for the year are:

Ok then, I will get us underway. This is a landscape of the River Crouch in Essex. I warmed up the photo in Adobe Elements 6.0.
Landscape is the photography I prefer doing, and I would enter more images if I can, but someone called Jamie says you can only enter one photo! Icon_sad Icon_cheesygrin
This photo also got full marks on the photography competition at my camera cub.

The Photo is entitled, "Warm River Crouch"

RE: May - Landscapes

Wow, three photos on the first day! Can I just say something, the competition opens once the thread has been made, not on the first day of the month.

RE: May - Landscapes

Andy, when you are shooting panorama's, is the setting on your camera, or do you take the photographs and stich them in a Photo Editing software programme, such as Adobe Photoshop?

Jamie, i shoot the pictures separately and then stitch them together, i use a program called Autopano Pro. There are many different programs out there you can use. i really liek doing Panorama's i have done one which was 18 pictures, if you were to print it 20cm high it would be over 2.5m long, needless to say i haven't had it printed yet, i dread to think how much it would cost.

Quite a lot I would say! Icon_cheesygrin

I use Adobe Photoshop Elemts 6.0. I absolutely love Photoshop; you can do so much with it!

A garden is always a series of losses set against a few triumphs, like life itself.
