Speaking of Kingfishers and Pubs, may i suggest a cup of coffee in the garden of The Old Quayhouse at Lelant, Cornwall. It overlooks the Hayle Estuary and Kingfishers can regularly be seen flying past.

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a few hours recuperating from sightseeing, eh?

Thanks for the tip, and welcome to Wildlife UK, Paul Icon_biggrin !

By the way, I've just spent a number of enjoyable minutes checking out your website. When I eventually manage to get to Cornwall (I'm in the US, so it's some time in the future) I will be using your site to make certain I catch all the birds of interest.

Thanks Kingfisher. Feel free to contact me when your over here if you need to know anything about the birds or birding sites in Cornwall.

Cornwall has to be one of my favourite counties. The countryside is so beautiful, along with the great beaches and of course the ice cream!
