hi from igreens

Hi, igreens is an environmentalist organisation that believes that government generally does more harm than good. We also have lots of other news and chat about canoeing, poetry etc.

I hope you don't believe in the myth of global warming due to carbon dioxide emmissions!!!

p.s. I'm a canoeist (and I mean a PROPER canoeist, not a kayaker). HATE poetry.

Howdy and welcome. Look forward to hearing your views.

Although I'm no lover of government I find that most organisations have a political agenda to present. However, I always enjoy debating alternative viewpoints and options.

There's good and bad to both sides of the coin! I also enjoy seeing the alternative viewpoints, as long as the presentation is civil Icon_smile .

hi wild canon, Actually, iGreens have been just about persuaded that global warming is real, and even that man is causing it. But we are definitely not convinced that a load of carbon taxes are going to do anything more than make us poorer, and less able to cope with the change in the weather. Frittering money on inefficient windmills is the last thing we should be doing.

I'm a proper canoeist too - just off to paddle the Verdon Gorges. Sorry you hate poetry - try "Coming" by Larkin. We've got it on our old site (see signiature).
