Hi all

Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum in response to an email I received from Xeract, with regard to a video I posted on YouTube headed Deer and Badgers. I live in Suffolk and work in the CCTV industry which helps quite a bit when I decided to film some of the critters that live in my woods. My other videos can be seen on YouTube under the user sac43, at present I have just installed the obligatory camera in the Blue Tit box and am keenly awaiting the scratching of tiny claws.

Hello sac, welcome to the forums! I look forward to seeing some more of your videos, the film in the blue tit box is definitely something to look forward too.

RE: Hi all

Hi sac43, good to have you along. Perhaps you could let us into some of the secrets of using cctv to capture shy animals.

I use a digital video on my spotting scope to video birds - see here: http://www.rakm.co.uk/bittern.html What would really be useful is to fit a video camera of some sort to my image intensifier to record the badgers in my local wood. Colour isn't necessary, as the image is the usual green.

updated - removed full stop. Thanks, Jamie for pointing it out..... No moans about punctuation, mind!!!

Hello Wild Canon. The link you have provided is incorrect, becasue it has the full stop on the end. I have tried it without the full stop, and it works fine.

Edit: I wasn't moaning, It wouldn't have worked otherwise!
