Hedgehogs

A couple of work colleagues have seen their first hedgehogs. We saw one but it was 'squished' on the road.

Do look out & take a photo for Kingfisher if you see one.

RE: Hedgehogs

A shame about the quished one! It always makes me sad to see any animal killed on the road, but hedgehogs and badgers are the worst to see for me.

I haven't seen any yet this year though, I'll let you all know if I do.

A shame about that 'squished' one, but I will look forward to some home photos of hedgehogs!

RE: Hedgehogs

That reminds me of a girl at work was coming home one night last year with her partner & they saw a Macdonalds smoothie cup walking round in circles on the main road. They stopped & removed it & it was a hedgehog which had obviously found it & went to lick the residue out. It wasn't drunk though just couldn't find its bearings with the cup stuck on its head. They released it & it went on its way..

RE: Hedgehogs

Hedgehogs do seem to be of a perfect size and shape to have mishaps, don't they?

Poor things...
