Fantastic Britain!

It has often occured to me that no matter where you go in the world, nothing seems to beat the UK's environment. The diversity of the countryside is astonishing and I don't think it is given enough credit. From the high mountains and sea cliffs in the North to the oak forests in the South there is always beautiful scenery close to you wherever you are.

RE: Fantastic Britain!

Whenever I come to visit, England feels like 'home'.  It's wonderful to fly over the countryside, it's so beautiful even from up in the air.

Naturally, it's even better at ground level.

Can't get enough...

Well said! It is true that for such a small island the diversity is astonishing.
