Ducklings
A pond near us has become the home to a whole family of ducklings. They have to be the cutest animals I have ever seen! They all seem to be doing well, although one didn't make it unfortunately but it is only natural for the weakest to not survive to help its siblings.
I've already seen one person try and feed them bread though, hopefully not too many do.
I will try and get some pictures soon!

RE: Ducklings
Thats very nice to hear
What species of duck are the ducklings? They are most probably Mallards, as they usually live in ponds.

RE: Ducklings
My husband and I had gone for a walk several days ago at the local trail, and noticed a duck with seven ducklings.
Two days later she was down to only two ducklings .
We think either a raccoon or coyote got the others.

RE: Ducklings
Oh no! I really feel for the duck.
Are you sure it was the same family?

RE: Ducklings
Yes, as a matter of fact, we saw them again yesterday on a walk. Same duck, same two ducklings (at least there are still the same two!).
Life is hard for ducks--unfortunately, there are a lot of animals out there that rely on ducklings for food.
