Competition voting thread

Hello all,

We have eight entries for the competition which is now closed. Please vote for your tastiest recipe in this thread. They all sound great so it's going to be a difficult decision!

The only rule is that members who have entered the competition may not vote for their own recipe. Please make sure you have read all the entries before voting for your favourite!

Voting lasts for three days, so you have some time to make up your mind. The winner will recieve a choice between David Attenborough's "Life in the Undergrowth" DVD or book.

Good luck to all our competitors! Icon_biggrin

Well you know, if people in Mexico can eat turkey with mole sauce, why not squirrel with chocolate sauce?

No Icon_mrgreen , the Mexican kind, pronounced "Mo-lay".

"Mole poblano is prepared with dried chile peppers (commonly ancho, pasilla, mulato and chipotle), ground nuts and/or seeds(almonds, indigenous peanuts, and/or sesame seeds), spices, Mexican chocolate (cacao ground with sugar and cinnamon and occasionally nuts), salt, and a variety of other ingredients including charred avocado leaves."

'Mole' comes from a native Mexican word meaning 'sauce'.

That's why TimberWolf's recipe is not so unusual as it sounds at first!

Now to find me a squirrel....!
