I'm always wary of cutting it because I have never decided in my head what I want it to look like! I will try and give it a go and post the picture here when I do.

Nice Bonsai Xeract!! I can see that the dog & the squirries have not been at yours!! My Zelkova could do with a head of foliage like that , which it should have considering the age of it.
What sort is it? & any tips for me?????

Sorry I don't have many tips! I have to admit its shape is more down to luck than judgement, and most of the shape was already there when I bought it.

The main thing I have picked up is that this bonsai especially seems very temperamental when it comes to water. If you water it even slightly too much it will go all brown. I think I'm learning though.
