Full Version: Seahorses in the Thames Estuary

I came across this article last week but haven't had a chance to post it. Seahorses have been found in the Thames Estuary, which is great news as it means the river is probably at its cleanest for some time.

It's also wonderful to hear that they are in the Thames just because they are brilliant animals.

Yes I heard about this great news a few days ago. Really nice to hear isn't it?
I'm pleased they kept it quiet until the seahorses became officially protected. I'm sure nothing would have happened to them, but it's always best to be on the safe side.
WOW! i had always thought they were tropical fish (are they fish?) only, how fascinating. I've only seen them once many years ago in an aquarium in a restaurant. No no, they weren't on the menu!
