I'm visiting Somerset this Easter for a few days (can't wait!), and as I'm going there to relax I would like to have a look at what the local wildlife and environment has to offer! Does anyone have any suggestions for days out in the local area?

Longleat safari park is definitely on the list, it's not that far from where we are staying, but I'm more interested in the natural wildlife there.

Somerset has over 80 wildlife reserves, so I'm sure you will find one near you fairly easily. Whereabouts in Somerset are you staying?

I'm staying near Somerton, very close to the centre of Somerset. I know there are many wildlife reserves in the area and I will definitely be visiting some. I have no idea which ones though, do you have any recommendations?
