I was flicking through my local newspaper today (if you can really call it a newspaper) and on the front page was a badger who had been caught in a big cage that was meant to be a fox trap. The owner of the trap was apparently shocked that a badger had found its way in, and I was quite surprised too, even though the cage was huge and could easily fit a badger in it.
Luckily the badger was unharmed as it was a humane trap, and was let free soon after according to the paper. I think this is an example of how indiscriminate traps are though.
