Full Version: Moving frogspawn

As a child I have fond memories of taking frogspawn from our pond and moving it to the local river. According to the froglife charity though, this isn't a good idea at all and could be spreading "invasive plants and harmful diseases".

Their advice is to leave the frogspawn where it is found, and if other places are suitable for frogs then at some point they will be found by nature.

The problem is not the frogspawn itself, but the water it is moved in could contain species of plant which are invasive.
