March is here! I always love March as it's the transition from winter to spring, and often it seems to be good weather. I remember last year we had beautiful weather in march and april, in fact probably better than the whole summer!
Does anyone know which day spring officially starts on? It's usually around the 20th isn't it? It could be different this year as it's a leap year.
March, and Spring, seem to have come around so quickly this year. I've had daffodils out in my garden for over a month now and the crocuses and snowdrops have been out since early Jan.
With regard to the official arrival of Spring I hear some people take the equinox as the official start and others take the day the clocks go forward as being the start. Personally I don't mind either, I'm just really glad the days are drawing out again!!

yes I think you are right that it starts on 20th March. just glad the days are brighter now. I love to see all the new leaves arriving on the trees in variations of fresh green.
I didn't even know that seasons had an official starting and end date, I just thought it you more or less judged it on the weather. Well you learn something new everyday!

Yes plenty of daffodils in my garden for about two weeks now Jamie.
