A BBC film crew has shot some of the first footage of badgers and what they get up to in their sett's. There is lots known about badgers outside of their sett, but I suppose because of the difficulties of getting a camera inside the sett not much is known about what they do in there.

A couple of the interesting points I found from the article are that the badgers seem to "make their bed" each evening before leaving the sett. Also the male badgers get very bored and were more likely to fight in the summer months where they had to spend a lot longer in the sett.

Did you watch the programme on BBC last night. Lovely footage filmed in Devon. I feel much closer to them now being a Badger myself!!

I didn't see it actually, was it the same footage as the website? If it was I would love to see some more of it, I'll check whether it's on iplayer. Congratulations on becoming a badger!
