Is anybody participating in the Maldon Fun run in March? It is a charitable event, in favour of Sport Relief.
I will be doing the 3 mile race, so wish me luck!!

Yes I am training for the race at the River Crouch. I went on Monday and ran 1.5 miles in about 10 minutes or so, and I am attending a fitness club at my school every Wednesday morning
You should be fine then! You'll have to let us know how it goes afterwards.

I have been iffing and arring about the Newbridge one on the 15th March. Don't think my legs would carry me the distance though.

Its not that long Chris! You can do the 1 mile race if you want, and it is all in the name of fund raising and charity!
I think they are having different speeds of runner going at different times though. i.e Fast, then average, slow, then costumes
My son has just pursuaded me, so it looks like i'm up for the slow pace
I will never do costume again, done a five mile years ago in a Gorrila, it was Mid Summer...nearly killed me.
