EXETER CITY!
One of only two teams to have graced the new Wembley stadium twice (and I was there!). Didn't do too well the first time but won promotion back to the football league on May 18, beating Cambridge United 1-0. Looking forward to the new season already and our first friendly is on July 11th.
I believe in supporting my LOCAL club, and am not a fan of folk who say they 'support' some high flying Premiership club, but have not even see 'their' team play in real life! I think it would be better if they said they just followed the results...........
Yey! Well done Terry. Know how that feels. We spent 5 years in the Conference then promoted two years running, now promoted again to Championship! I dont get to see the Reds much now living in Cornwall but will be booking my ticket against Plymouth asap!
Oh and the new Championship boys beat the Toon Army last night in a pre-season friendly!!!!
Stockport County.
I couldn't agree more with the post about 'supporting' Manu Arsenal or the like.
Here's hoping everyone has a good season. Enjoy the bad times and the good times will be even better.
The problem with my local team is that they are more than a 45 minute drive away, not exactly local

Southend is about a 40 minute drive from me Riana, and I still see every home game! (of course I don't actually drive, although go-karts are pretty awesome!)

Wish mine were 45 mins away! They are 6 hrs away now!
Oh dear! Where have you moved to/ are now?
Eh! I support Doncaster Rovers and i live in west cornwall.
My lot beat Millwall 1-0 on Saturday and drew 1-1 with the FA Cup winning team Portsmouth in their PSF's!! Bring on League 2!
Yay! My Southend United season ticket just came through the post!
Hey, not all fans of premiership sides don't go to games! I've been following Spurs since my first visit to a match in 1967. Even when I was living outside London I still got to games - I now live a 15 minute bus ride from White Hart Lane, the world famous home of the Spurs and have a season ticket. And I'm not alone - supporters of premiership games pay a fortune for their tickets home and away and we are as passionate about our teams as those in the lower leagues. Please don't lump all premiership fans in with the group of people who 'glory hunt' by saying they support successful teams but have never been to a live game in their lives.
Nice start to the season picking up three points from last years Premiership drop outs!!
Yeah, Southend won 1-0 yesterday at home to Peterborough. Scored 10 minutes to the end.

Do you not mean Peterborough Jamie??
My wonderful team drew 1-1 at Darlington in their first game back in the football league for 5 years!!
