Yeah apparently it was -5 degrees in Doncaster last night! We've already beat them at their own ground this season.
Oh, you should have no problem then!
The mighty Tottenham Hotspur (season ticket holder in the Paxton end). Looking forward to new season, think it could be a good one for us even if Mr Berbatov does disappear into the sunset.

So the words "Jermaine Defoe scoring an offside goal to beat Southend 1-0 might sound familiar to you..."

lol

Yep! Remember it well - sorry about that. I also remember the Pedro Mendes 'goal' at Old Trafford and I'd happily give you the offside decision if we could have had that goal and our first win at the Theatre of Dreams in donkey's years!
come on you Spurs

very excited about the new season - and we have Kestrels at White Hart Lane - 2 pairs we see them most matches.
The Toon, for my sins.

Aaarrrggghhh!
Great, The Rovers have got Derby County, away, for the first of our Championship season games!

Very simple - it's an utterly pointless and boring waste of time (can't bring myself to call it a game).

Lots of people have the same views of wildlife or bird watching! Open minds to other peoples enjoyments please! Im very passionate about supporting my team. I enjoy the social aspect of meeting my friends at the game, the atmosphere with the opposing fans and the elation at goals and winning the game. A great way to spend a saturday afternoon. Very much the same feeling i get when out birding, the social aspect, the atmosphere at a rare bird twitch or the elation at finding a rarity or seeing something spectacular in wildlife. What might be an utterly boring waste of time to one, might not be to another!

Er, excuse me, we were asked what football team we supported, so I made that VERY clear. If you like watching 22 wimps chasing a ball around on a Saturday afternoon, then that's up to you, but don't criticise me when I say that I find it UTTERLY UTTERLY UTTERLY boring.Fi_lone_ranger

Crikey, you took a while to reply to this! I wasn't critisizing you Richard. As you rightly point out, we were asked what football team we support, not what our opinions of football was. If you dont like football you should have either put "I dont support any football teams" or alternatively not put anything at all if it is of no interest to you. There are obviously a few members on here who do enjoy football, so why not leave this thread to us and voice your opinions on threads that you do enjoy and are passionate about, you are perfectly entitled to your opinion but as i said earlier, it wasn't asked for here. I personally cant stand Darts but i know thousands of people do enjoy playing and watching it! Good for them.
ho ho! Darts - that is a GREAT sport!

I have supported Nottingham Forest since I was 11 (nothing to do with their success in the eatly 80's I'm sure) - lost touch a bit in recent years but glad to see they finally got promoted back to the championship - unfortunately can't watch them play Bournemouth next season but Bournemouth got relegated anyway (very sad situation)
