So the words "Jermaine Defoe scoring an offside goal to beat Southend 1-0 might sound familiar to you..."

lol
very excited about the new season - and we have Kestrels at White Hart Lane - 2 pairs we see them most matches.
Is that Newcastle United?
You guessed it I am (and proud to be!) a west Ham Supporter!!!
Lots of people have the same views of wildlife or bird watching! Open minds to other peoples enjoyments please! Im very passionate about supporting my team. I enjoy the social aspect of meeting my friends at the game, the atmosphere with the opposing fans and the elation at goals and winning the game. A great way to spend a saturday afternoon. Very much the same feeling i get when out birding, the social aspect, the atmosphere at a rare bird twitch or the elation at finding a rarity or seeing something spectacular in wildlife. What might be an utterly boring waste of time to one, might not be to another!

Er, excuse me, we were asked what football team we supported, so I made that VERY clear. If you like watching 22 wimps chasing a ball around on a Saturday afternoon, then that's up to you, but don't criticise me when I say that I find it UTTERLY UTTERLY UTTERLY boring.
I have supported Nottingham Forest since I was 11 (nothing to do with their success in the eatly 80's I'm sure) - lost touch a bit in recent years but glad to see they finally got promoted back to the championship - unfortunately can't watch them play Bournemouth next season but Bournemouth got relegated anyway (very sad situation)
