It was the eve of the school nativity play and all the class pupils had been allocated their parts: Mary, Joseph, assorted animals, trees and blades of grass gently swaying at the side of the stage.

Suddenly, the teacher realises that one little boy has been left out. She approaches the upset boy him and asks: 'What do you want to do, Johnny? Actually, what can you do?'

Little Johnny dries his tears and replies: 'Well miss, I live on a farm, so I'm pretty good at making farmyard noises.'

The teacher suggested that his talent would be great to provide realistic background noises, and everyone was happy. It was decided that after the birth of Jesus and the arrival of the shepherds, the signal would be given and Johnny would do his bit.

The school hall was packed with proudly expectant mothers and fathers, teachers and pupils - in fact there was standing room only for those that arrived late. The play was going well - far better than could be expected. Mary gave birth to Jesus, and apart from carrying the baby by its head, everything was perfect.

Then the shepherds arrived at the stable, and the teacher gave Johnny the agreed signal to begin: 'Farmyard noises please Johnny,' she whispered.

Taking great pride in his starring role, Johnny took a deep breath and at the top of his voice yelled: 'Oi, you, get off that ruddy tractor!'

That's brilliant, made me laugh out loud at the computer screen which doesn't happen very often!
Indeed, I can just hear that!

I've just sprayed coffee all over the office (I'm working today)
Lucky I wasn't drinking anything or I would have done the same! Icon_biggrin

He decorates for all the holidays!

Looks good! Nice of him to take the time to do something like this.
I think he has quite a bit of fun doing it. His favourite is Halloween--he gets to put up pumpkins and ghosts and goblins Icon_biggrin .

I'll have to take photos for the other holidays as they occur.
