I like this idea! Great start! Icon_smile
I love the list, I quite fancy being an "Ancient Woodland"! I have to admit I've never heard of a osier though! Icon_biggrin
I suppose I should explain those middle two names:

Osiers are a shrubby willow and the flexible twigs are used in making baskets (so an alternate name is 'basket willow').

Withes (or withy) can also be from willows, but can also be made from hazel or ash. Sometimes the term is used to describe any flexible rod used in such rural arts as thatching and making garden furniture.

I like to think that by the time a member has posted 250 or 500 times that they are part of the 'binding' of the community here Icon_smile .

Some great entries so far - I really like this one though. Titles with a woodland connection - excellent Smile
