Hello all! I have been going through the posts on this forum and I must say that this is a very adorable forum and you people are doing a very great job over here. I congratulate you all for that. I will love to visit the wildlife in UK sometime but I now get scared to go abroad after all that happened with me the last time I went to Brazil. I was there with some friends to assist a football match but my bag got lost. It contained my passport and all the important stuff. Eventually, I found myself alone in that country. I was having a terrible headache and was looking for a pharmacy to buy medicines. But no one was able to understand that I was looking for a pharmacy. Fortunately, I had my laptop with me and I came across a Brazil pharmacy where I got the phone number of a pharmacy in the vicinity and with a lot of difficulty they helped me out. Oh god! That was the most dreadful day of my life and my friends still make fun of me. This incident still scares me and I am still scared to go abroad alone.
Hello Naturelover, don't be afraid to visit the UK, or to go abroad. There's some wonderful things to see here.

You know I find that rather funny as I feel like that about the US. We often hear that Britain is going just like the US.Icon_eek
I think that really if you observe simple rules about keeping yourself safe nothing is likely to happen to you. These are areas where I would not go in Britain but these are not usually found the tourist trails. We have a few places in the North West like Toxteth in Liverpool & Moss side in Manchester that I would not go but then again there is no reason to go there. Cities are more or less the same the world over. I would feel nervous about going to New York but I know loads of people who do. What I am trying to say that Britain is just like any other place the majority of people that you meet are kind & helpful & hopefully you don't get to meet the minority who aren't.
