Hi, just would like to know what this stoat like creature is that my mate snapped at the side of a road while walking, I looked at mink, stoat, ferret, but think it could be maybe a polecat - Ive seen one in my life 2 years back bound across the road while travelling through leyland, but i cant gage the size of it from this pic, any ideas?
hmmm i cant seem to add the pic??
You have to upload it from you pc to a photo sharing site like photobucke or flicr, then get the [img] code and paste it into here.
Hi
To upload full sized pics to the forum you dont need Photobucket - just uplaod them to the Gallery on here - see top right of web page then:
Go to "post reply"/"new thread" etc
in the text part type
[img]xxxxxxxx[/img], where xxxxx is the name of the file/picture on the gallery.
Make sure the file name does not say thumb as in
http://www.wildlifeuk.net/gallery/albums..._Brain.jpg but "normal" instead. If you get the thumbnail address you can delete the "thumb" and replace it with "normal".
The easy way to get the fullsize file name is to click on the thumbnail in the gallery to get the full size pic, right click on the pic, go down to "properties and highlight the full address eg
http://www.wildlifeuk.net/gallery/albums..._Brain.jpg
Just upload your pic to the gallery on this site as a jpeg, then open it, right click, choose properties, select the whole of the URL which starts http:// and ends .jpg and copy, then in your post type [img] paste the URL and type [/img]
oh yer lol forgot,am so used to using photobucket.
photographed the same polecat as Simon King did on Spring Watch!!! took all day, standing in a tiny hide
Nice! look nice and professional.
