I have been deleting data from my old (2001) pc to make way for this one - which I have been using since June! It proved a grievous procedure (being why I put off doing it) as the old runs soooooo slowly but I decided the time had come. Of course, it didn't just involve deleting data - there was the little matter of untangling a spaghetti-junctionesque mass of wiring, etc., etc. Now all I have to do is put this one in its place and install my scanner and 3 printers - after I have found the disks for them all!

Not done much today, but had a good day out on Saturday to a nearby town I hadn`t been to in nearly 20yrs.. they had an Ace bookshop where I got books on Fungi, Trees, Insects and Spiders... which I`ve had my nose stuck in most of the day! Wanted to go for a long walk today, but weather poor and got a dodgy foot!

Yes, our weather was v. overcast until about lunch-time but it's lovely now. Sorry to hear about your foot - nothing too serious, I hope. Good that you have got some books to interest you. I have a couple of the Dorling Kindersley Pocket Nature books and find they are quite useful for id-ing basics but they don't seem to cover the whole spectrum of any subject. But I guess with all these type of books they can be almost out of date as they hit the bookshops - simply because of new discoveries being made all the time.

The roads were manic round here today so just a few hours bug hunting at my local patch.

Overcast and wet here too until about lunchtime - then it allowed me about 3 hours dry and light - but windy.
