This is a monthly photo competition, with each month having a set category. During the final week of the month, a voting thread will be put up so you can vote for your favourite images.
Unfortunately the winner will not receive any prizes, because it is just a bit of fun.

The winner will be mentioned and congratulated by Xeract on the homepage. On your thread, you could give a name for your image, and if possible, include photography information, such as ISO, shutter speed etc. A new thread will be created for each month, so please be sure to enter in the right one!

If you have any further questions, then please contact me by personal message, and I will try my best to answer your question.

!!!!!THE COMPETITION DEADLINE FOR THIS MONTH IS 24/8/2009!!!!!!

Please note! Only enter one image a month, and can you only post images in this thread, will make it much easier for me come the end of the month! Any posts that aren't entries will be deleted

Not sure how lucky ill be on Mull this year, so here is one of my favourite Bird of Prey shots, its not the most recent, but considering this is a wild bird in a farmers field, and i was sat int he car with the lens resting on the window frame, and it flew within 40 feet of me im truly chuffed with the series of 4 shots i got ! This is a very very minor crop, can show the original as well if interested Icon_smile

I got some of the usual full wing spread shots, but this one twisting round before swooping down almost seems to be smiling at the prospect of a fresh beef meal.
