Howdy one and all from a new member.

I live in Surrey and am a member of the Surrey Wildlife Trust (and the Woodland Trust). I also hope to get involved in a few local conservation projects in the near future.

I love the countryside and consider myself extremely fortunate to have the North Downs and extensive areas of woodland and diverse countryside virtually on my doorstep. I also attend many of the local country shows. By far my favorurite animal is the wolf (hence the name), and I hope one day to witness its return to these shores.

Look forward to joining conversations on something that I really care about.

Hi Timberwolf, welcome to the forums!

Its great to have new members like yourself who are interested in getting involved in conservation projects. I also live in Surrey at the moment and the having woodland and countryside so close is a real treat.
Hello Timberwolf, although I am located in the US, nevertheless wolf re-introductions is of great interest to me. The grey wolf does have habitat in the state of Washington, in the Selkirk and Kettle Ranges, and does occasionally come down from British Columbia, Canada.

I was extremely fortunate to see a wolf on my recent trip to British Columbia Icon_biggrin .

Welcome to Wildlife UK!
