I only became aware last week that we have a local nature reserve nearby, in fact I tripped it yesterday and it's just 8/10ths of a mile by road. Can't believe I didn't know about until just last week. I drove down to the entrance yesterday and although it dosen't look well kept, apparantly there's a couple of hides and some good wildlife there. So I just might have a wander down there today for a browse about and see whats there.

Its called Arnolds Meadow Spalding if you want to Google it.

Yogi.
A few photos from my new found Nature Reserve which is a 15 minute brisk walk or 8/10ths of a mile by car.

Yeah it was very quiet and peaceful. I think the fungi is a Rusalla but I need to check. It was on an old tree stump.

I wonder if he has gone to Africa to follow the Ospreys as was rumoured on AW?
Don't think so Jan, unless someone is throwing out red herrings. Simon himself said "For unavoidable and unforseen personal reasons I regretfully have to cancel my public engagements tomorrow (12th). My sincere apologies. SK". And then "My book signing in Stamford on Friday (13th) has also had to be postponed, sorry. SK "

One girl who was going to one of the signings today (two were scheduled) was telephoned by the bookshop concerned and they told her it was because his wife was ill - but whether that is correct I haven't yet found out.

He was in Africa the early part of last week so if they show that on AW this week I assume it will be recorded footage.
