This is a monthly photo competition, with each month having a set category. During the final week of the month, a voting thread will be put up so you can vote for your favourite images.
Unfortunately the winner will not receive any prizes, because it is just a bit of fun.

The winner will be mentioned and congratulated by Xeract on the homepage. On your thread, you could give a name for your image, and if possible, include photography information, such as ISO, shutter speed etc. A new thread will be created for each month, so please be sure to enter in the right one!

If you have any further questions, then please contact me by personal message, and I will try my best to answer your question.

!!!!!THE COMPETITION DEADLINE FOR THIS MONTH IS 24/7/2009!!!!!!

Hi Ruth, I've edited your post for you so the picture shows. Once you've added the attachment, write click on the thumbnail click properties and then copy the image URL. Then use the image button in the post to insert it.

Hope that helps!
There are some awsome images here - for what it's worth here's mine, taken in 2006 with my cheap and easy 5MP digi camera (recently replaced by a Canon EOS 350D which is my pride and joy)!

Despite further instructions I still don't seem to be able to get my photos bigger than thumbnail - sorry, you'll have to click on it to see a bigger version!

Jamie - I have edited your post again. All you need to do is click on the image, and at the top of the page it will show the URL for your image. Copy this URL, which in your case will be 'http://www.wildlifeuk.net/attachment.php?aid=1077' Then do this:

Its really that simple!

Guys, please keep this thread as free from chat as possible to make it easier for Jamie at the end of the month. When the voting thread goes up you can comment and talk about the photos there.
