Good news, the first wild golden eagle chick in a hundred years has hatched in Ireland. The chick was born with a sibling which unfortunately died after five days so there is only one left, so people are getting understandably nervous about the second chick surviving.

That is such wonderful news! It is understandable that people would be nervous about the first chick, but it's a start.
