For the first time I can remember there was very little rain in April, and if we don't get some soon the plants will have a hard time over the summer.

The forecast says we may get some heavy rain next Tuesday so I hope its right!
We did have a very wet winter this year so I wouldn't worry too much unless we don't get some rain before the end of May.
It's been more or less raining steadily in my part of the world, so perhaps the UK rain migrated over here.

It turned up in May for us . Slightly wet in the north west but it is sporadic & the birds seem to love it as they all come out singing just after a shower.
Yes the lack of April showers have certainly already been made up for in May Icon_smile

It is pouring today, even a bit of tunder around earlier. Unfortuantely I have to spend the afternoon outside today so I'm going to get wet, as the weather isn't clearing up anytime soon according the weather forecast.
Its miserable round here in the south of england. Im all for environmentally friendly weather, particualry as we have recently been having dry months, but at the minute it feels like we're back in winter. Its dark, cold and wet Icon_sad
It's going to get brighter towards the end of the week sunshine so don't despair! I actually enjoy the rain in moderation, I find it relaxing to listen too from inside and I enjoy walking wrapped up in it.
