Superb shot - I wish I could get a lens with more than 1:1 Magnification for my Nikon! I may try extension tubes on my Sigma 150mm F2.8 Macro at some stage.
if u get full set of tubes and ranox u would have 4:1 life size
What's a ranox?
Thanks.

Not sure about putting even more glass in the equation. I'll try extension tubes on the Sigma 150mm first I think and see how it goes.

The Raynox looks like a high quality supplementary lens to me, so my advice would be to try one of these rather than extension tubes first. From my experience, I've had better results with a supplementary lens than with extension tubes, because the prime lens is still working within its designed parameters, this is especially so with a non-macro lens (which includes so-called "macro zooms" - which are nothing of the sort).
