Hi - This bird has been a visitor to our garden (south east essex) over the last couple of days - eating wild bird seed.

We have no idea what it is, and looking through books etc hasn't helped! Any experts out there able to shed some light?

I wonder whether it might be a leucistic or albino pigeon/dove? Not at all sure

Hi Chortle....your bird is a Diamond Dove. It is a native of Australia and popular in aviaries, I guess it has escaped from someone locally to you.
