Hi

All the flowers on our honeysuckle have disappeared. It is a young plant with relatively soft stems. The cuts are fairly clean but have a small "tag" as if the last bit has been pulled slightly. There is no damage to the leaves.

We have a lot of deer passing through the garden and I am hoping that it is them, but would value an honest opinion.

Thanks in advance,
Ben
I don't know the answer to your question but I do know that if there were deer passing through my garden they would be doing damage and I would certainly stop them. Early this year I lost all my over-wintered brussels, red cabbage and wallflowers to to sheep. I do not appreciate hungry visitors.
It does sound like a deer, but I don't know if the clean cuts have any significance and whether that is common with deer.
