I've read about Raft spiders on another forum but didn't think I'd ever spot one without actually venturing into the bog/mire at Thursley. I don't have to now as this one was sitting in the middle of the boardwalk earlier this afternoon. Icon_cheesygrin


And then towards the end of my walk I noticed an interesting web took a closer look, and spotted this Funnel Web Spider!!
