Hi everybody, thought I'd do a quick intro..........always been an animal lover, became interested in birds and spend a small fortune feeding them, but at least I now work from home and can watch them feeding Icon_wink

That lead me onto making my garden more wildlife friendly (although unfortunately it's not very big Icon_sad ) so started choosing plants for birds and insects. Now finally have a pond, and have started leaving small bits of lawn unmown in the back garden and have a nice pile of old logs for whomever wishes to make use of them Icon_rolleyes Also have a regular hedgehog who has cleared the garden of slugs, bless his little heart, I've been fighting them for 20 years!

Retirement is thankfully looming in a couple of years, when I'll have more time to go out and about to nature reserves etc - have 2 horses so free time is limited at the moment Icon_sad

Sorry, bit of a ramble here, but I just find watching any type of animal absolutely fascinating Icon_redface

Hi Dillibags, welcome to the forums!

Your garden sounds great, a real wildlife haven. It is great having a wildlife friendly garden, it can be very fun to spend time at the window looking what's going on!
