Probably quite common, can't find anything quite the same.

Very interesting though, certainly not seen one before.

Not desperate to find out just thought I'd share Icon_cheesygrin
that would be a ladybird larvae or mini crocodile
not sure of the species (maybe our friend the harlequin)
arrrrggg silly silly silly me! somewhere I'd seen ladybird larvae and was surprised at their being huge and very much different looking beasties.

There was certainly a plentiful supply of aphids around!
