What wildlife have you seen today?
It would be interesting to see what people see on a daily basis, and how it compares to the little I see.
Today I've seen a couple of sparrows feeding at the feeder, and a blackbird sitting on the fence.
During my 20 minute walk with the dog this morning, I saw crow, blackbird, robin and wren. Heard chiffchaff and long-tailed tits.
This morning I've seen a bluebird and a couple of blackbirds, plus a grey squirrel.
Just seen our local pair of lesser black backed gulls from my office window in the Euston Road, London
Today I've seen a Kestral, 2 blackbirds, numerous wood pigeons, 4 starlings and rescued a spider from the bath.
Today I've seen a robin and a rather large spider.
Either you can't be looking, or there is no wildlife in the UK.
Taking my dog around my neighbour's fields this morning I came up with:
- chough X 5
- stonechat x3
- Blackbird x2
- thrush
- Hooded(grey) crow x 2
- rook x 15
- jackdaw x 5
- magpie
- starling x 24ish
- wren (heard only)
- willow warbler (heard only)
- chiff chaff (heard only)
- hedge sparrow
- house sparrows x 7- in my garden
- chaffinch x 3 -in my garden
- blackbird x 2 - in my garden
- raven
- swallows (several)
- 3 mountain hares (lepus timidus hibernicus)
I was out for about thirty minutes.
The dog also heard two pygmy shrews (I couldn't hear them as my hearing isn't what it used to be) but I could tell from the way she looks. Oh, and I've just seen a goldcrest out of the window now on our pines.

Wait until the weekend and you might get longer lists - a lot of us work so only get to see wildlife en route/coming back to the office and if we have the time, in our gardens
The wildlife is a pleasant way of spending life. The god gave natural foods to them, where they spend all their life in the forest. The people like to visit forest to see the wild life in the nature. The wild animals are not disturbing the human beings, but our people often use to disturb the wild life. There are many forests in Africa. The Africans use to move close with the wild animals.

Well i don't get out much so don't see much. Saw a Kestrel the other day where i wasn't expecting to see one. And often when i walk the dog at night i'll run into a Hedgehog, and Lady will become a kangaroo on the end of the lead to get to it!
